In addition to my bridal collection, I offer a fully bespoke wedding dress design service for brides who are looking for something a little more personalised. I take on a limited number of bespoke clients per year to ensure each bride gets the best possible experience.

My design process

Each dress is designed from scratch by me, so that you have a full opportunity to have the dress of your dreams. You can choose your own fabrics or I can can source unique fabrics for you, and the dress is made to fit you and only you. There is no upper size limit to my designs; each one is custom made.

I love being able to create special, personal dresses for my bridal clients, and I love when brides are looking for something slightly unique and different! I am particularly keen to take on commissions for contemporary designs, colourful dresses, non traditional dresses, and fashion-led designs. 

All the fittings take place in my studio, which is a relaxed, welcoming environment conveniently located in Waterloo on London's South Bank. I make a toile of your dress in your size for your fittings so you’ll never be trying on a dress that won’t close, or having a dress pinned to your front so you can “imagine” what it will look like.

Sourcing fabrics

I can help you source fabrics, work with vintage fabrics you provide, or recommend fabrics to you. You can also use the fabrics from my bridal line for a custom piece. 

If I source your fabric for you, I will bill you for it at cost price, and if I receive any wholesale discount I will pass that along to you in order to help keep your costs low. 

What I do and don't make

I specialise in contemporary, non traditional bridalwear, and love making unusual pieces for brides doing things differently. 

I do not work with heavily sequinned fabrics, stretch fabrics, leather, suede or latex, and I do not offer corseted and boned styles. 

I am a couture dressmaker rather than a tailor, so unfortunately I cannot take on any tailoring projects i.e. jackets, trousers with traditional menswear stylings. 

I am very happy for you to send me photos for inspo, however I will not copy directly from other designers, as I wouldn't want this done to me either. 

Custom Dress Cost Breakdown

£100 non-refundable design deposit when the commission is agreed.
This enables me to start design work. This will be credited to your final invoice once work is complete.

£150 for the first fitting | £100 for the second fitting | £100 per additional fitting
£45/hour for 2027 weddings, which will be itemised on your invoices. 

The final payment MUST be received before you collect the dress.

Recommended Budget

I recommend a budget of at least £1250 for a fully bespoke full length dress to ensure that you don't have to compromise on fabrics or finishings. 

Normally the cost breakdown is around 30% fabrics, 30% design & fittings, and 40% sewing the final dress.  

Therefore, even simple designs usually require a budget of at least £750 as they require as much design and fitting time as more complicated dresses. 

If you have a smaller budget, I recommend looking at my bridal line for more affordable options. 

Turnaround & Timeframes

Bespoke wedding dresses MUST be booked a minimum of six months out from your wedding date to ensure that I have enough time to arrange all the fittings and make the dress around my other commitments. This is for your benefit as well as mine as you don’t want to be stressing about getting the dress the week before the wedding!

Appointments & Fittings

I conduct bridal fittings Wednesday - Saturday 10am-3pm by appointment only. 

Each bride is guaranteed the option of one Saturday fitting, however additional Saturday fittings are not guaranteed. If you are only available on Saturdays, please ensure you factor in extra time for your dress process as Saturdays book up fast.
