Commission a bespoke wedding dress
A fully bespoke wedding dress design service
In addition to my bridal collection, I offer a fully bespoke wedding dress design service for brides who are looking for something a little more personalised. I take on a limited number of bespoke clients per year to ensure each bride gets the best possible experience.
My design process
Each dress is designed from scratch by me, so that you have a full opportunity to have the dress of your dreams. You can choose your own fabrics or I can can source unique fabrics for you, and the dress is made to fit you and only you. There is no upper size limit to my designs; each one is custom made.
I love being able to create special, personal dresses for my bridal clients, and I love when brides are looking for something slightly unique and different!
All the fittings take place in my home studio in London, which is a cosy, welcoming environment. I make a toile of your dress in your size for your fittings so you’ll never be trying on a dress that won’t close, or having a dress pinned to your front so you can “imagine” what it will look like.
Enquiries for 2026 are now open! Please enquire below and I will get back to you in 1-3 business days. Enquiries for 2025 are now closed as I am fully booked for bespoke brides. If you would like a dress for a 2025 wedding, check out my bridal line for an affordable, fast turnaround option.
Working with me
If you are interested in working with me, please fill out the form above to kick off the process!
Let me know the type of dress you’re thinking of, or any fabric or colour scheme ideas you’ve had! That will give me an idea of whether I’ll be able to take on the commission.
Costs are as follows:
- £100 non-refundable design deposit when the commission is agreed. This enables me to start design work. This will be credited to your first invoice once work begins.
- £150 for the first fitting
- £100 for the second fitting
- £100 per additional fitting
- £40/hour for all labour for 2025 weddings, £45/hour for 2026 weddings, which will be itemised on your invoices. The final payment MUST be received before you collect the dress.
I normally recommend brides have a minimum budget of £750 for labour costs, and £300 for fabric costs for a bespoke dress, however lace dresses which require a full lining layer may require a much higher fabric budget. If you are looking to use real silk I recommend a fabric budget of at least £600 and a labour budget of at least £1200, as everything will need to be hand basted and hand finished.
Bespoke wedding dresses MUST be booked a minimum of six months out from your wedding date to ensure that I have enough time to arrange all the fittings and make the dress around my other commitments. This is for your benefit as well as mine as you don’t want to be stressing about getting the dress the week before the wedding!
If you don’t have the time or the budget for a bespoke dress, I recommend my gorgeous bridal line! You can click here to see the dresses. These dresses are designed for brides with a budget of under £1000, and can be ordered up until 12-16 weeks before your wedding so they’re a great short notice option!
