Add a custom fitting

I go to every length to ensure that your new piece will fit you perfectly. However, if you would like that extra tailor-made for you perfect fit, add this listing alongside your dress to have a full toile of your dress made and a one hour appointment to have it custom fitted to you.

You are welcome to be fitted for the following designs, however fittings are usually unnecessary due to their oversized, adjustable or adaptable shape: Mojito Dress, Islington Dress, Marylebone Dress, Stoke Newington Dress, Dream Dress, Sausalito Dress and Top, Quilted Embroidered Vest, Quilted Leopard Vest.

The following designs have a fitted shape and a fitting could be helpful: Lambeth Dress.

How the process works:

1. Add this listing to your order
2. Send me your measurements: height, bust, underbust, waist, hips. Check out the measuring guide for some top tips on taking your measurements! You can also book a measuring session to get measured by me in person if you are unable to take your own measurements.
3. I will make a toile of your garment out of calico fabric (please allow up to 2 weeks for this process from the date you send your measurements).
4. I will send you a calendly invite to pick your fitting time. I take fittings from 8am-9pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm Fridays, and 10am-12pm on weekends however not all times will be available at short notice so please bear that in mind for your timeline.
5. I will fit the toile to you to ensure the perfect fit and make any changes needed
6. Once you are happy with the fit of the toile I will make the final dress

Fittings take approximately one hour on the day.

Fittings take place in my studio in Streatham Hill as standard (SW2 South London, 5 mins walk from Streatham Hill Station, exact location provided after purchase for security reasons). My studio is on the first floor in a building without a lift. I can also book a fully accessible ground floor space with parking nearby to conduct the fitting for an additional £25. Terms and conditions:

1. A fitting is not a finished product. You will receive a cotton toile and an hour’s fitting, not a finished and wearable garment.
2. Once you have purchased a fitting, I will make a toile of the chosen garment for you (if you book only a fitting and not a garment too, you can let me know in the box at checkout which garment the fitting is for).
3. You will then receive the toile of this garment at the fitting itself.
4. If you choose not to have the final garment made after the fitting for any reason you may keep the toile however you MAY NOT take the toile to any other designer or maker to have them make a garment from the toile, as the design remains my intellectual property. Doing this is a breach of the terms of purchase and may result in legal action against you.
5. As fittings and toiles are services rendered and not finished products, no refunds will be given for completed toiles even if you choose not to have the final garment made. This does not affect your statutory rights.
6. If you purchase a fitting and then change your mind before the toile process has been started, you may request a refund and it will be processed to your original payment method.
